Details

  • Items to be collected are dependent on the gender and age group you are assigned.
  • Each bag should include at least:
    • X hygiene items
    • Y gifts from the specified age and gender category list
  • We have teams from all over serving and so it’s important that we have consistency amongst the packages. If you are wanting to give additional you should send more packages, not larger packages.
  • Below are images indicating how items should be packed and labeled. This is critical for us to be able to manage a large distribution wih limited time.
  • Note: Soap can melt and stink up the bag. Soapy tasting candy is gross

Prohibited Items:

MFI does not allow the transportation of alcohol, tobacco products, explosives, fireworks, gunpowder and firearms.
Equipment with small engines must have all fuel drained before shipment (i.e., generators, motorcycles, etc.).
Many common items such as oil-based paints and many batteries are considered to be hazardous materials. All aerosols are hazmat and cannot be flown on MFI aircraft.
Aerosol shaving cream, hair spray, spray paint, WD-40, and many auto chemicals are prohibited. Product labels will give important information such as "product under pressure" or "flammable"

Many thanks for your cooperation in this matter. As Missionary Flights International is growing the volume of cargo being received is also growing. We strive to have items shipped in a timely manner and your help would make this much easier.
