Wednesday :)

Haiti has been incredible! All the people here are so loving and kind. All the work we have done has been hard, but it has all been worth it. Knowing that the houses and work is going to help another person live in a better place is such an encouragement. It is so cool to learn their culture and how they do things. Me and my friend, Sarah, recently worked in the kitchen where they prepare all of our meals. Sarah was washing the dishes and I was putting them on a cloth they had laid out for the dishes to dry. No one in the kitchen spoke English so we had to use hand signals; whenever I would put something on the cloth wrong they would have to correct me. The language is definitely a barrier, but love and kindness works in every language. It is awesome to being apart of this amazing adventure! Although it is hot I love being here and spending time with my group and the Haitian people. It is my hope that we can do our part to make a difference in the lives of all the individuals that we have met this week. So much more to share!
