Day 5: Tunnel Day

Day 5: Tunnel Day

So I feel like I need to explain the title. Two of our biggest projects today ended with a tunnel. After moving cement bricks 1/4 of a mile down a mountain and walking back up steep hills to go get another brick, when we had finished , Philip ( our awesome leader) started a tunnel in which we sang and had the last people run through :) we have pics so whenever ms.kim can post, you'll see what I'm talking about. And at the end of our youth service, we had a prayer tunnel, for 120+ people…. A truly moving experience. We have decided that the song break every chain has become overplayed though. All in all it's been an impressive and blessed day. We had a word from Colleen and Jason this morning, if you don't mind I'll share it with you.
Jason- consider our mind a barn. We can't control all the birds that fly through, but we can control which ones we build a nest for. In this sense, we can give place to the things that align with the word of God, and the spirit of God. Everything else just flies through.
Colleen- led devotions this morning, and talked about mercy, spiritual conviction, and spiritual freedom. Read from Romans 12 and focused in the first 2 verses. Check it out if you like :)
And the final question of the morning was: how does God make a difference in your life?
Enjoy your night everybody!
